My husband taught Pharmacology for a while - it's my understanding (and his books say) if your kidney function is 100%, 24 hours; it can take longer, much longer, if you have reduced kidney function and traces will remain in your urine more than 72 hours later.

It is excreted in your urine so the amount of time you have been using/taking doesn't matter.
