I have 2 daughters that live in INDIANA. I am still paying support on both and health insurance. The oldest is 20yrs old and had been living with her grandmother for 2yrs but recently moved back home. She works part time and DOES NOT ATTEND COLLEGE AT ALL AND NEVER HAS. Can I petition the court to end child support on her? Also, I have a daughter that is 18 and still paying support on her as well. She recently moved in with her aunt for the summer and does not want to go home. She wants to finish her last year of high school with her aunt. Is there a way I can make sure the child support money goes to her? Or since she moved out of the house on her own free will can I petition the court to end child support. I can send money directly to her so I can make sure she gets it.

As for ending support, it depends on what the support agreement stated. If the agreement stated that support continued untilk age 18 or when they stopped attending school, then you should be able to peitition the court to end that support.

As for the other child, I'm assumng that support is being automatically taken from you. This means you have to go to the agency that is getting the support and point out to them who your daughter is living with and that support should go there.

Also given that they have reached the age of 18 I believe that you should petition the court on both cases. You mose likely have fulfilled your child support obligaton. That doesn't mean that these young adults don't continue to need your support.

In Indiana unless the kid moved out on their own at 18, 19, or 20 child support continues until 21. What you can do it petition the court for a change in support so that the aunt receives the support for the one still in high school because regardless if they are 18 if they are in high school support still continues. You will have to bring in proof that the 18 year old moved in with aunt but that should be reasonably easy.
