I am trying to figure out how long the statute of limitations says a person has to file a personal injury lawsuit. I am located in Ontario, and the injury occurred in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. Therefore I am also wondering if I need to be dealing with an international lawyer.

You should be in touch with a personal injury Attorney where you were injured -

It will probably be necessary to retain an Attorney in Ontario and that Attorney will deal with the Attorney in the Dominican Republic -

Happens all the time between US/Canada.

Statute could be located - what type of accident?
