    Toilet noise
When the toilet is flushed there is a terrible loud noise... I think that it might be air in the pipes. How do I fix this?
    Thanks,

    Hi mwellbourne
This is one of Tom's advices,
The noise you hear is caused by the vibration in the stem and washer assembly. Shut the water off under the tank and remove the three screws securing the top of the ball cock. Pull the float ball and stem and washer assembly up and out. Pry the washer out and turn it over pressing it in firmly. Place your hand over the open ball cock and reach down and turn the water back on to flush out any crud that might be in there. Reassembly and give it a test flush, good luck.

It can also be noise coming from loose washer inside your angle stop. Open and close angle stop (water supply valve) couple of times. If that's the source of the noise, it should go away.
