It depends on how much the court house charges marriage license
    Usually approximately $40.
And a fee for getting married at the court house approx. $25.

Usually you get married in the Judge's chambers and not in a courtroom. The ceremony is more private then. Call the county courthouse and ask the clerk what prior arrangements you need and how much it will cost. Usually the Judge marries people on certain days of the week at certain times (say lunchtime). He will marry you in a short civil ceremony and if you don't have any witnesses come along, there are always other employees there to serve as witnesses. It is not very expensive either.

Guess your marriage licenses are cheaper than ours, In TN the license will be about 100 dollars unless you take premarriage counseling and the judge will get another 50 normally.

A marriage at the court house here in GA is closer to 100 dollars total.

But yes, I don't know any that do the marriage in the actual court room, I am sure some must, but it is in the judges office, he is sitting at the desk and basically does it in a few min
