    Stopped up toilet
I have a stopped up toilet.

I used a plunger to attempt to remove the blockage and it seed to work. But, when putting some toilet paper (not any large amounts) in the toilet and flushng it stoppeds up again.

I then used a snake (auger) to attempt to remove the blockage that may be trapping the paper further down in the piple and that did not resolve the issue.

There are 4 toilets in the house and this one is the only one that seems to have a problem.
Do you have any other advice?

    Thanks,

    Ron

If it fills up all the way up to the rim immediately after you flush then the blockage is inside the china bowl. Plunger or 5' auger should do. If not, then you have some object stuck inside the bowl and within the trap. Remove the toilet, take it outside, flip it upside down and remove the object. Reinstall.

This blockage could also be in the branch. If you can see standing water in the pipe after the toilet's been pulled then the blockage's downstream in the branch and not in the bowl. If that's the case you will have to snake the branch. Good luck, Tom
