You'll have to verify the wireless connection has linked to your machine before you open IE.

    • When you reinstalled Windows, did your wireless adapter get its drivers installed, too? Check the Device Manager and make sure:
      1. Right-click MY COMPUTER and select PROPERTIES
      2. Click HARDWARE and then DEVICE MANAGER
      3. Click the + to open up the NETWORK ADAPTERS
      4. Make sure your wireless adapter is listed. If not, or if it has a yellow alert triangle, then you will need to install the drivers for it.
    • Next you make sure your computer has linked to the wireless router
      1. Is there a wireless connection showing in the Task Bar? If so, you're good to go...open Internet Explorer
      2. If no, open CONTROL PANEL > INTERNET CONNECTIONS
      3. In the left sidebar, click on VIEW AVAILABLE WIRELESS CONNECTIONS
      4. Select yours from the window that pops up and CONNECT
      5. When the connection is established, open Internet Explorer
