Why caps are attached to dc motor
How One Can Know The Operating Volt Of Small Dc Motor Where Nothing Written On.
Second: Why Searies Caps And One Resistor Attached To Motor

    First the easy part :

the cap is to suppress electric motor noise.
the resistor : are you sure it is a resistor, or is it a kind of fuse or in-line coil?
Seems also part of the noise suppression !

Now the difficult part : the supply voltage :

Small engines may work from 3 volt upwards (DC or AC).
The only way to find the correct voltage is in practice : just start with 3 Volt DC and see what happens.
If you have a variable power supply it must be easy.
If not use dry cells. Do not exceed 12 Volt or the voltage on which the motor runs properly on a reasonable load.
If you have a multi meter : measure the supply current, and do not exceed 1 Amp.

    Success !

    :)

    Hi,
Small nf cap are on both ends and are ground with the motor case. One resistor 6.2ohm is also attached in searies with one terminal. Thanks for giving me some knowledge about it.
