I used a hair color by clairol and my hair is a dirty blonde with red pigments in it and the new color that was put on turned out orange looking what can I do? Please help me, What should I do? Thank-you, June,

I aasume you were trying to lighten you hair and used a color with a red base. The way to fix it is to go to the beauty supply store ( we have sally's here) and get a color with green base the same level your new color is. I know it sounds scary, but I am a hairstylist, and green neutralizes red. Use 10 volume developer and mix the color as directed and apply to the areas that are red. If all of the hair has that red tone, apply all over, leave 20 to 30 minutes. Shampoo and condition... Warning***Do not use another box color or you will make it worse!!
