    Bathing my puppy
So I have a 9 month old morkie.. when I give him a bath... I don't really know how to clean his face so I just get a rag with water and wash his face down... because I don't want to get some in his eyes or in his mouth... or get water in his nose... so how would I do it?

A cloth should work just fine. If you need to, put a bit of "baby shampoo" on the cloth, and clean around his face. It is not going to hurt him to get water in his eyes, nose or ears.

Also, be sure to put cotton balls in his ears when you bathe him. When water gets down into the ears then your dog may develop yeast infections, which can also lead to bacterial infections. Longhaired dogs, or dogs with a lot of hair in/around the ears run an even bigger risk of developing such infections because the hair traps the water in the ear and keeps it from drying. And if you're really concerned about burning his eyes, you can get some mineral oil and put one drop in each eye. They won't like it and it'll be uncomfortable (warming it in some warm water first may help) but it'll protect the eyes. That's what we do at the vet's office when we have to do a mitban dip for mites.

A wet rag should do the trick in regards to facial cleaning, however the rest of the dog should be used with a puppy shampoo. No more than one bath a month, or you will dry out the oils in his coat. Also, they have pet wipes you can purchase for a quick fix clean.

Getting soap/water in it's nose/eyes isn't ideal, but it won't seriously hurt the dog.

I use baby shampoo especially for the face. It's tear less and no ouchies come upon.
