Hi I am trying to start a family of my own and it is not going well... My partner and I are trying every week, but nothing... I was wondering if you had any evice on this? And a nother Q: is after sex can you go to the Bathroom? Because I think that I will lose his sperm and won't get pregnant so how can I help this too...

If you don't go to the bathroom after having sex, you could end up with a urinary tract infection, so make certain to urinate within twenty minutes after having sex. Also, having a baby can take time, don't give up! If you still have trouble getting pregnant, see a gynocologist.

Drs are good at figuring out if there is a problem preventing you from getting pregnant.
The dr can also tell you when the best time fertility wise is too. J_9 here will be able to explain that to you too.
Also they say when you try too much it can lower sperm count so less is actually better.
You can go to the bathroom, take a shower anything you do in a typical day.
Have you tracked your cycle to figure out when you ovulate? That may help, your post said that you are trying every week, if you track your cycle, or use a ovulation detection kit, it may better give you the day that you need to try.
How long have you been trying for? How often are you having sex? Have you determined when you are most likely fertile? A few ways... start with counting back 12-16 days before your next period is due... this is the general guide for when you might be most likely to ovulate. Keep in mind that many women ovulate at times other than this however and that is perfectly normal. Watch for changes to the discharge you have... when your body is preparing for ovulation, the discharge will likely become more clear, fluid and abundant. Your cervix will also change position... while most of the time you can likely feel it and it will feel firm, closer to ovulation it will shift higher and become softer. You can also try temping/charting for a few months to see if you notice a pattern to a slight shift in temperature... a slight dip and rise lets you know ovulation may have happened the day or so before. Ovulation predictor kits work well for some too... the key is to follow the directions closely.Quote:

Also, you might might to look into ovluation kits, they work pretty well but can get costly.
Secondly,you might want to experiment with different conception positions during intercourse. In order to become pregnant, your partner must deposit his sperm as close as possible to your cervix. Certain positions will allow this to happen more easily. Avoid having sex while standing, sitting, or with you on top, as this can cause semen to leak out of your body. Instead, try the missionary position, which allows for deeper penetration. Rear entry intercourse is also effective, as it allows your partner to deposit semen closer to your cervix. To keep any extra semen from leaking out of you, try elevating your hips for fifteen minutes or so after your have sex.
Thirdly, you have to eat right.Eating right plays an important role in your body's fertility. A balanced diet helps to regulate hormones and nourish your reproductive system. A good diet also helps you to maintain a healthy weight, which can greatly impact fertility. Women who are underweight or overweight may have a harder time becoming pregnant because body fat levels impact the production of sex hormones.
It is especially important to include certain vitamins and minerals in your diet. Try to include:
Vitamin C and Antioxidants: these vitamins prevent sperm defects and boost sperm motility. They also reduce stress on your eggs and reproductive organs.
Zinc: zinc deficiencies have been linked with reduced testosterone and semen levels.
Calcium and Vitamin D: A daily, dose of these nutrients have been shown to help increase male fertility.
Things to avoid are:
Alcohol: alcohol can reduce your fertility levels by up to 50%. It can also decrease sperm count and increase the production of abnormal sperm.
Caffeine: caffeine, found in coffee, teas, cola, and chocolate, has been proven to reduce both male and female fertility levels.
Xenoestrogens: xenoestrogens are estrogens found in environmental chemicals and pesticides. Produce and other foods can have high levels of xenoestrogens, which, if ingested, may disturb your balance of hormones. Imbalaced hormones are often the cause of fertility issues.
Lastly, exercise can also be a good natural fertility treatment. When combined with a balanced and nutritious diet, exercise can help you to maintain a healthy body weight. Aerobic workouts like walking, swimming, and cycling is good.
Please note even if you try all of these things it might be no positive outcome. It took me close to a year to get pregnant and for some women it takes that much time or longer. If you get no results within a year, its time to see a doctor. They'll check you out along with your boyfriend. Sometime God is not ready for us to bring a child into this world, but we will when the time is right. Stress can also work as a barrier, so relax and once you stop stressing over the issue, your be surpise on what can happen. I wish both of your luck in concieving.
