    1. What if I never receive the receipt for my h1b visa? Does it means that I failed already?
    2. What if I received my receipt?Does it means my h1b visa is approved?

    Your employer should be notified in 2 steps... the 1st one is Notice of Receipt and the 2nd depends on the result... either Notice of Approval or Notice of Rejection.
