    lotion helps

usually you see this more in the winter when there's less humidity and you're wearing longer clothes = friction... right?

usually lotion will take care of this. You can try to remove some of the dead skin, but be gentle and don't go nuts. In time the dead skin will come off.

I'll get dry spots on elbows and knees in the winter if I don't put some kind of lotion on them.

Cut a lemon in half, use one of the half and rub both elbows with the half lemon.. after, wash it with warm water.

Fia, dark elbows are caused due to dryness. You need to keep them well moisturized. You should apply cream to your elbows regularly. Also, you can use a alpha-hydroxy cream, it improves skin texture and color and allows moisturizers to be absorbed so the skin remains supple.

    Hi,
I have a great tip that really works for me. I buy almond oil from the health food store and add my favorite essential oils to it. My favorite scent to use is Ylang Ylang. I buy "raw" sugar from the grocery store.

In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of sugar with 1 tablespoon of oil.

    Wash hands.

While hands are wet, massage hands, forearms and elbows with the sugar mix for a couple of minutes.

    Rinse with warm water.

    Apply your favorite moisturizer.

I do this about 3-4 times a week and have very soft hands and smooth elbows. No dryness or dark areas.

This is a great tip for keeping feet and knees smooth too.

You can also use plain table sugar and olive oil if you have those handy. :)

Judging by the manner in which you typed your inquiry it is obvious that your case of rough elbows has spread to your brain. It's rare but I have seen at least one case of this in the past. Sadly at this stage there's not much that can be done to soften your elbows or sharpen your writing and grammar. You should probably stop trying altogether.

Are your elbows red and sensitive? If they are I have that to!
