Taking a name off a deed
I have a question regarding taking a name off a deed. I am currently in a deed with an ex and have been paying for the house by myself for the past couple of years. What is the process to take someone's name off and add someone else on. I'm assuming this might have to go through a lawyer? Would I have to buy her out and then refinance?

How is this addressed in your divorce decree?

Yes, you have to buy them out, since they "own" 1/2 of the house, you can not just force them off.
