How can I keep my weed eater string from jamming on the spool so it will come out? :o

You have to carefully wind it up in the first place so it won't jam. The string will jam, however, regardless of how neatly it is wound up. It seems that when you buy a new already wound on the spool they don't jam as much. I've had good luck winding my own but I do it very slowly and very carefully.

When you wind the string, wind it tightly and straight. Looseness and crooked windings ends up with a jammed up, "welded" together.
