Water no longer going to shower head. Only a couple of drops.

Hi Danismom:

First, with the limited info. Provided... I would remove the shower head and see if it is clogged. Here, you unscrew the shower head counterclockwise and then check to see if it is clogged with sediment/debris. You want to run the water through the shower WITHOUT the shower head in place... IF full pressure, then you know the head is clogged. Simply unclog the head and then replace (teflon tape or pipe dope the threads... available at home supply) and see if that fixed it.. if not... read below.

Need to know if this is a tub AND shower valve or just a shower valve?

Need to know name or model if possible... or any distinguishing marks.

Need to know if single handle or two or three handle unit, and finally need to know if you are getting water out the tub spout if tub/shower valve.

Check the shower head first, then let me know as much as you can...
