    String wrapped around washer agitator
    I am trying to remove an agitator from an old hotpoint washer that has a dual caps the first on comes off easy and I can not remove the second one. I have an apron string stuck around it.

    The apron string will slowly fall apart and dissolve in a bleach solution.
