Don't know if its about the glue, cause I put some glue on the whole top of it then put the disk name printed on a paper and cd shape cut...

Oh guys good news my installers are now working again... I just rip- up the label that I paste on it, clearly its not about the glue, but still asking why, does it mean I can't put label on it or its just the material that I've used... I only used bond paper, printed my desire design then glue on disc... any advise...

    DO NOT USE LABELS!!
Go buy a epson R series printer or a HP lightscribe or the new Lexmark cd printers... the paper on disk thing is a waste of time.. they throw the balance of the disk off after you burned it.. this isn't a problem if you place the label on the disk BEFORE you burn it..

I've used my inkjet for about 2 years now and its looks awesome with no problems at all...

Hmmm I don't know about the CD balance can you tell me more about it... The CD looks good with a label right, beside it tells you what's inside or what kind of disc it is...

    I using epson stylus c65...

And what can you say about that black disc, looks weard...

The most inportant side of a CD is the top, some inks and glue can damage the disk coating. You should only use markers or glues that are made for CD's if the ink or glue penatrates the layer it could cause danage.

    Hi,
I agree that the top of a CD is the most important part. All the information and files are written underneath the top.
    Why not do this:
Don't put anything on top of the CD. Put the CD in a plastic case, then type up what you want, make it a size smaller than the case, and put the paper in the case... not gluing it to the top of the CD.
    Another method I use:
Use a Sharpie permanent pen, with the Fine point. Write on the CD what you like... never had a problem with this.
    Best wishes.

Thankx for the info but I know top is more important...

What about using a platic or paper tin sticker?

And that black disc... seem doesn't have a coat on top looks like plain black plastic all over...
