I want your guys oppinions, is it safe to post my babysitting flyers on the internet. I will be careful if I do it, I won't post my address only email and telephone. I won't post any pictures of myself, my mom will have to talk to the clients, etc.
Do you guys think this is safe? Or should I advertise some other way?

I don't see why not. As long as you are careful, and your parents interview the people very carefully. And you have your parent's permission to do so.

Also, how old are you? Because it might be best to start babysitting for families that you know first.

Yeah I am 13, and as for babysitting for people I know, niether me nor my mom know anyone with children well other thanmy sister and I already babysit for her. That is why I wanted to post on the internet because I couldn't find anyone to babysit for.

13 is sort of young, a lot of people wouldn't trust their children with someone so young. So I would try advertising, and perhaps get an older friend and you guys can form a team of sorts to babysit!

Then explain that to them, say, "With all due respect ma'am, I can't obtain more experience if I get that exact response from everyone. If you gave me a chance, I could prove my responsibility, and that I'm a good babysitter, thus gaining experience." I know as a parent, I wouldn't say no.

13, is young, but how mature are you, the fact that you consult your mother implies responsibility. Try to post on the net, but do have your mother know where you are, and the people you baby sit for, also look into any courses like first aid, and all. As long as you are responsible and have your mother's suport, I say go for it.

YOu may want to look into volunteering, it's a start, and there are usually more people there to help you and TRIAN you, benifitail, no? It don't pay, but the experience and references would be priceless, provided you are mature and responsible.

I have taken the american red course training class, and I very mature. When it comes to important stuff like little kids I am obbesive about knowing where there are and knowing they are safe.
I always talk to my mom before taking any action, because I know she knows best. When I do babysit I watch them like a hawk, I am a little annoying that way. But I believe if I can get a few jobs, I can make it.

At 13 you need to check your local laws because at 13 some states only allow you to babysit or be home alone for 2 0R 4 hours
