    Hot water heater
My hot water heater piolet keeps going out. The heater is 6 months old wirlpool.. I can hear a slizzling noise like water dripping on the piolet putting it out. I just put a portable air conditioning in the room next to the boiler room where the hot water heater is. Could that be causing condensation an putting the piolet out? I keep the door closed to where the heater is... an if its condensation, what should I do to stop it? The flame looks a different color also until I let air into the heater room..

It looks like you have a proban gas (or sort of) combustion heater.. if so.. sure you need fresh aire to aide combustion... if the room is closed and not enough oxygen is there.. it would affect combustion quality and may stop combusiton... condensation is normal on surfaces that are cooler than the air entering the room.
