    Baseboard Heater & Furniture Proximity
I'm moving into a (VERY small) apartment and am trying to figure out how to fit my queen sized wooden bed in there. It's a glorified slab of wood with four legs. Anyhow, I was wondering if it would be safe to place it near base board heaters, and how close? The two main walls are mostly covered by baseboard heaters! I can't afford a new bed, so How close can I safely put my bed? Are there any other options to redirect the heat or something? Is there a way to turn one heater off with out affecting the other? Thanks!

I believe it's a foot or more from all objects (More can never be wrong). Yet, if you can get the manufactures name plate information--should be stamped on the unit--you may be able to call them direct, and get the specifications
