    Water leaking from furnace!
I have a large water pool around the base of my furnace. I unclogged the drain tube leading into the pump.. but the water is still coming back.

The outside metal covering of the furnace have a lot of condensation on them and sometimes a small layer of ice.

The water in the basement looks a little hazy like there is another substance in it.

    Any suggestions?

The coil in your unit could have frozen over.

Turn off the outside unit but leave the blower run on the inside unit to defrost it.

Check your return air openings to make sure they are no blocked and also check your furnace air filter to be sure it ic clean.

After a few hours you may want to try and run the outside unit again to see if it will work. If not and it freezes up again it is time to call for ON SITE service from your local HVAC company.

I noticed that the line from the Ac to the furnace has some ice on it.

I will try your advise.. thanks for the help.

I guess the AC would still be working if the coil was frozen over right?
