My computer does not download anything. When the run dialog box comes on it goes right out like a flash

Please provide a bit more information for clarity. When you say it "goes right out like a flash," what precisely happens. Does it run the download (i.e. open the file or execute the file), or does it just completely disappear? Lastly, what browser are you using?
