I recently moved school and I've barely settled into it, I am hanging out with the popular group and they're pretty cool kids. But they keep harassing me about who I like, I've told them no - one which is a lie. I like this girl who's in the Jock group, she's nice, and she's sort of my friend.. She lives down the road from me and we always bump into each other.. Like the other day I was walking down the street and I saw her, and chatted for a bit then she went home. And today, at the library.. I was bored out of my mind and she walked past, and smiled and said "hey there nerd, fancy seeing you here considering you failed everything" and I don't think I've never blushed more in my life.. on the last day of school wich was yesterday she hugged me and said goodbye... I think I just fell in love.

And your question is?

You know you didn't have to lie. You simply had to say it's a secret. Make them understand you don't want them fooling around whenever she passes by you guys.

I understand why you lied. I can't stand it when another person knows who I like, but you should've told them it was a secret. I think you should get to know this girl a little more, before you make the mistake of thinking your in love and limiting yourself when there are probably more chances, ones that will treat you better and with more respect! I couldn't sleep last night.. I was just thinking about her it was really weird I've never felt like this before.

My best friend had the same problem, and she told this boy that she liked him and that no matter what he did or said, he couldn't change that. They ended up dating for 2 years and they are still good friends! You should consider that, and if her reaction isn't what you wanted, try to deal with it! It isn't that hard to except love!
