    Hi to ALL,

    I am using windows2000professional, in that when I type msconfig in run command it is not working, tell me the soluation ASAP. For your information check attachment.

    Msconfig doesn't exist in Windows2kPro. You'll have to learn the new tools:

    You can also use "mmc"... (start->run->"mmc" (without quotes)

    Then choose "console" and "add/remove snap-in".

    "Add" and scroll down to "services", choose "Local Computer" and click finish. (close and OK yourself back to mmc)

    Now you can see what services is running, choose if they should run automatically, or be started manually etc...

    Just remember to save the snap-in before you start doing anything, or you might get in trouble...

    A bit safer than regedit, and easier to use :)

    Hmm, there are notes here to indicate you can download and install the old msconfig and it will work. Worth a try!

    The XP version is said to work fine in 2k, you can get it here. (Msconfig)
