    Cat has like a cold.
I went to go and buy a cat at this PetSmart store and we adopted 2 little 2 month old kittens. The first day the kittens were good. By the next day one of them started to sneeze like non-stop and later on got like discharge in its eyes and a really runny nose its been like a week and its nose has like green boogers now. A week later the other cat started with the same symptoms and is sneezing like non-stop. I was wondering that what is wrong with my cats. These has never happened to me I am really concerned and I DO NOT want them to die I'm soooo sad. What is wrong with my babies?! :(

They have an infection... You need to have them seen by a vet. They probably will get worse if you do not give them some antibiotics. YOU ALSO NEED TO CONTACT THE RESCUE THAT WAS ADOPTING THEM OUT AT PETSMART AND LET THEM KNOW WAHTS WRONG... CHANCES ARE MANY OF THE OTHER KITTENS WILL BE THE AME WAY... THEY MAY Recommend a vet and may even help pay the fees.

    Can I return the cats

You can return the cats to the rescue. Of course, that will put you on their list of "people to not adopt to", and they will pass that information on to other adoption groups that they are friendly with. Your kittens have the equivalent of cat colds. It's relatively common in cats that are kept in groups, much like kids getting colds at daycare. It's also easily treated. Go to a vet, get some antibiotics, and they should be fine.

And to anyone who adopts/buys an animal... take them to the vet right away, so that you can be sure that they are healthy. The same or the next day is what I try for, so that things like this can be treated before they get bad.

You don't return cats just because they get a little sick. "The first day the cats were good." The fact that they are sneezing and such -- does that make them not good?

They may have been sick when you got them, and I would most definitely call wherever you got them from. The Petsmarts around here always get them from the county shelters. They should have been checked over before being adopted out and if there was something wrong, I consider this their responsibility. It's possible the one was already sick and the second got sick from the first.
