I have been renting a townhouse in NJ for over two years. My landlord owns several properties. Recently he has been getting notices regarding foreclosure help. I believe he was also served papers. When questioned, he denies this, although I don't believe. What should I do regarding the rent? Should I save the monthly rent for moving expenses? My security deposit is in an escrow account. Should I contact the bank to make sure that money is save? It is over $4000. Once a property is foreclosed, how much time do I have before I am evicted?:confused:

As long as they own the property, you have to legally pay your rent or you can be evicted. Yes I would check to see if the money is there
