    to prove trigonometric equations
Could you please solve this problem? (cotA + CosecA - 1)/(cotA-cosecA+1) =(1+cosA)/sinA
I have to prove that LHS = RHS.

Replace the cot and csc functions with their sin and cos alternatives. You'll find the LHS becomes:

Now multiply through by , and you'll be able to combine terms from there.

    cotx-1÷1-tanx=cscx÷secx

redasaleh - please do not add a new question onto an old post, but instead please post this as a new question. But before you do - try substituting the primitive sine and cosine functions for the varoius sec, csc, tan and cot functions here, and you should get it. If you post this again, please check the signs of the functions, and aso please use parentheses so that readers can be sure what the equation is.
