the one removed is the lower left jaw tooth which is on the right side of the image, and as you can see from the OPG there's another one on the right lower jaw which is under the skin or the gum still but its fully developed, my dentist wants me to have it removed too, I would like your opinion on the same.
Also while the last tooth was being removed there was obviously too much pain despite the anesthesia and I wonder if it was worth the pain, but what concerns me most is that the doctor was stretching my lips so much that I am worried he may have stretched them out of shape forever, is that possible or will they get back in shape?
Right now I have swelling and am taking painkillers,

There a two things that will help with mouth pain: Neutrament (meal in a can) and ice.

Refrain from drinking coffee,using a straw and eating chocolate.

Look where the roots are, that means your wisdom tooth is pushing against all of your other teeth, and will eventually move them all out of place, causing a tremendous amount of trouble for you.

Yes, they hurt, but getting it done now, is your BEST option.

But yea DON'T drink through a straw because the suction will rip and tuck at your stitches.. it hurts like a mother f'er.

Get the wisdom teeth out though, if you don't do it now, it will mess up all your other teeth and you'll be in even more pain down the road..

This last wisdom tooth appears to be sitting close to the trigeminal nerve. You may want to consider having an oral surgeon take a look at it to be sure that there won't be any nerve damage when it is removed.
Why didn't you have all your wisdom teeth removed at once? You would have only had to go through the post-op discomfort once.
As for your question about your lips... I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Because that's the only one yet to be removed.

I didn't have them removed all at once because, they showed up after different intervals, like the top right came in like 2 years ago, then like 6months after that I had the top left now these two were here, I didn't even know about this last one until I took the X ray and found this hidden in the gum, fully developed, so the doc said he wanted to go one by one, but I don't think I have the patience, courage or tolerance to get this last one because
a) its under the skin
b) its not causing any trouble.

Look at your x-ray.

Do you see that the tooth is growing side ways?

It is not pointed up, like your teeth are supposed to be.

It is PUSHING against your other teeth, moving all of them out of place.

IF you don't get it done now, it is going to be far worse later on, and will have messed up all your other teeth as well.

Do you plan to ask again, what we think?

The tooth red is talking about is not the one you are. Red is talking about the one you see on your left (where the "R" is). It is not horizontally impacted.

You could leave that tooth but it would be a good idea to have it xrayed every 3-5 yrs to be sure this is not a cyst forming around it. Run it by your dentist. Remember, it IS your tooth you can choose to do what you want with it. There is no problem leaving it until it causes a problem but remember you heal fast when you are younger and it's always easier to have a tooth removed without infection around it.

HI again flossie, I got my last wisdom tooth removed, it was done like 4 days ago, but there is a problem, there is a part my skin from the inner cheek lying on my last molar, I am unable to chew, close my mouth fully(clench my jaws) because there is a lump of skin that's getting cruched under the last molars, I talked about this to the dentist who did the surgery, he says its all right, and that is only due to edema and swelling and it would subside, and that he does not think there's anything wrong with the sutures, but I can feel the skin still in between my last two molars and its causing a hellova trouble, do you think there's a problem??

Did the dentist look or did you just talk to him on the phone? Your x-ray isn't available on the link for me to see how close the tooth was to the joint. If I remember correctly it was pretty impacted, keep rinsing with the salt water and give it a few more days. If it's no better by Friday go in and have the dentist take a look at it.

Only thing bothering me really is the skin between my last molars, I mean I just can't close my jaws..

Also, the dentist did take a look, he said it was fine, but he said that I could eat with the other if the skin is bothering me the right side, BUT no matter which side I eat, the jaws are still going to clench when I chew so there is no way, I can eat food.

I can't understand why there is so much tissue if the lower tooth was removed unless he tore or cut the cheek. Do the stitches go up the cheek? Was it an oral surgeon who did the surgery or a dental surgeon? You could always go seek another opinion about what should be done by another specialist.

Hello... I don't want to take up this thread but I just didn't want to start a whole new one while I have a similar question. This image I include is not a real X-ray it's a picture of one... so I don't know how clear it is. And it was taken back in March, so it's been quite a few months since. Now you see I have wisdom teeth growing, the bottom two seem to be impacted, but when I went to have the exam done they didn't even mention them. They only mentioned all the fillings I needed. So now I've been having a bit more pain but am not sure if it's cavity pain or wisdom teeth pain... but since they are there I believe it would be best to take them out. So I went today to ask about them and they referred me to an oral surgeon but he wasn't there at the time we went. Ok, one question is, since it's been over 5 months would I need a new x-ray? And do any of those look like they're close to any nerve or anything? That top left one looks more like a ball, is that because the top of it is facing the front? Can anyone notice anything else that might not be right? I mean the picture is not clear enough but I hope it works.

Also, I wanted to know what would be better if any of you have gone through this... localized anesthesia or general. And if general, is it at all a danger in any way for people who might suffer from asthma or that type of respiratory illness? It's hard to see the mandibular nerve since the clearity isn't very good. The Oral Surgeon will be able to advise you as to the closeness of the root tips to the nerve.

You shouldn't need another x-ray since the one you have is pretty current.

The upper left tooth does look like it will erupt towards your cheek. The two on the bottom will never come in to your mouth and could cause problems with the teeth in front of them as time goes on. Leaving them also puts them at risk of having cysts form around them.

Good for you to bring it to the dentists attention!

As for the choice of sedation... there is always a risk to general anaesthetic. You could ask the Oral Surgeon about conscious sedation... you are awake but you won't really care about what is going on. You will definitely need someone there to drive you home.

Ok thanks, for that reply... hey, how did you know my full name? Oh, yeah it's right on the photo. Hadn't noticed, should have cropped it. Well I got an appointment for consultation for this coming Monday. I hope all goes well, I'm just really scared or at least nervous since I had never gone through stuff like this. I had never in my life visited the dentist either until March of this year only for the x-rays. I'm sure there are many people with same experience and know how nervous they can get. From my personal experience I do think that you will have to get them removed, and the surgeon will almost surely not give you general anesthesia, you will be conscious during the surgery, but you won't feel much, the pain starts later on,

And your surgeon should be able to answer regarding the nerve query and any others if you have..
