The WOTC is one tool in a diverse toolbox of flexible strategies designed to help move people from welfare into gainful employment and obtain on-the-job experience. It joins other tax credits, education, and job training programs that help American workers with barriers to employment prepare for good jobs; ease their transition from job to job; benefit from the creation of effective regional economic development strategies; and create high performance workplaces.

You can read about it at the following US Department of Labor website:

Opportunity Tax Credit, Employment&Training Administration (ETA) - U.S. Department of Labor

    Hi

WOTC is Work opportunity tax credit. The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is a federal tax credit used to reduce the federal tax liability of private-for-profit employers. Even bottomlineprofitability.comwill also help you as they work like an agent between employers and IRS. In this page you will get all the information related to WOTC.
    Hope it will help you!!
