Can you use depilatories when pregnant?
I was just wondering if you can use hair removers, or depilatories while pregnant? Its going to be really hard to shave so I was wondering if its safe or harmful to the baby? Please let me know ASAP thanks.

It is not recommended to use depilatories while your pregnant or nursing, due to the chemicals. You can always consult your doctor.Skin may absorb depilatories and bleaches.

I got a phone call but I forgot to add that the main concerns with depilatories during pregnancy are the active ingredients barium sulfide powder and calcium thioglycolate. There is no evidence that they are harmful during pregnancy, but there have been no studies that prove they are safe either. You can shave, but it might hurt because your skin is more sensitive when your pregnant, or tweeze, but that too might be painful.
