All right little backround... just bought this mower off craigslist have not even used it 4 times. Mower would not start last time I went out to mow the lawn... neighbor came by turned the flywheel until it was loose and then poof it started up, he used it the rest of the afternoon, started a bunch of times... brought it back to my house left it sitting... I went out the next morning to start and it just makes a screetching sound(starter trying to start). Any ideas?? Thinking of replacing the flywheel just want to be sure its not just a starter though?

Could be the starter is hanging up against the flywheel. When the problem occurs, remove the black dust cover by the starter and see if the gear at the top of the starter is staying engaged with the flywheel.
