    Sillcock installation on vinyl siding
I'm not too sure where to place this question; under plumbing or general construction. I am replacing a sillcock that leaked. The old silcock was positioned at the joint where two vinyl ridges come together so it can not lay square against the wall. My question is how to keep the sillcock square against the wall? Do they sell a vinly piece that fits into the vinyl ridges but has a flat surface for the sillcock? Any advice is appreciated.

Sorry Scott but I think you willl need to caulk with siliocne to build up this ridge. If you had some scrape siding you might be able to raise or lower the cock an inch or two.

I can't ever recall seeing such a block for a sill cock. You may wish too consider the blocks made for electrical outlets or lighting fixtures.

There are siding blocks made for retro-fitting on pipes. It's like the light mounting block, but it's split in half so you can slide the two halves together & cover the pipe. I used Crane siding, not sure if they were the manuf. Of the blocks or not.
