I am installing a bar in my basement. I ran one 1/2" CPVC line to the bar. I am installing a point of use hot water heater under the base cabinet to provide hot water. Since I only have one water line to service both hot and cold water, I need a double supply stop valve. I have searched everywhere I know including the web and have not found one anywhere.

I know they exist as I saw one on DIY Network but a search on their website yielded nothing! Please help!

Dang! Sweet! Where did you find it?? Better yet where can I find it??

Oops! I just noticed it has different size fittings. The one I've seen actually had a 1/2" CPVC input and two 3/8"stop valves.

BrassCraft is the manufacture. You can find double angle stops on their web site. You should have no problem with the one shown. The 1/4" supply will connect to the cold water side of the faucet and the 3/8ths side will supplu the Insta-hot heater. Regards, Tom

In this case, split your incoming cold water line: install CPVC "T" at the end. Than, you will have two dedicated cold water stub-outs outlets. Install two 1/2" valves. One will be serving bar sink, the other one your water heater. Connect your valves with w/h and bar sink faucet with 1/2" s.s. braided flexible water supply lines.

Thanks Milo, I thought of that but I was trying to keep it clean looking. Turns out my local Lowe's had a 1/2" cpvc inlet and two 3/8 outlets but just one valve. I think I'll use this.

In my area we don't use comprssion stops on PVC or CPVC. WE terminate the line with a 1/2"slip to male IPS thread adapter. We then connect a angle stop with a 1/2" Female IPS thread to the adapter. A more solid connection then a compression one. Regards, Tom

I'm not using a compression on CPVC. It has a CPVC slip inlet on the valve so I will glue it directly to the supply line. The two outlets are the standard 3/8" compression but it's a chrome plated valve.
