    Ceiling fan light pull chain
I pulled the chain to hard, can I replace the chain? If so how,
Is their a kit to buy or does it come all on its own?
Or do I need to get a new ceiling fan?

    In the dark?

Just switch off the fan, open up the fan housing, and attach a new wire/chain (available in most hardware stores).
So no : you do not have to buy a new ceiling fan !

    Success !

Credendovidis, why are you answering so many ceiling fan posts when it appears you do not know what you are talking about?

To the original poster, you have to replace the pullchain switch, but it is cheap and easy. Unless it has more than one setting (i.e. half the lights on, the other half, then both) it is only a two wire on-off pullchain available at any hardware store.
