Can someone please help me I need to know how I can get my computer to regonize the dvd writer it is a Samsung write master... I have been trying to get the computer to regonize it for about 6 hrs. and I can't figure it out... is there someone out there please help me I am in need for help on this

Which operating system do you use?
Windows recognizes most dvd writers automatically.
Are you sure that the dvd is working correctly?
To check that, temporally install it in another computer and see what happens.

The DVD drive came with drivers? Are you able to install those via the web? The OS should recognize the drive in at least a minimal way long enough to get the additionally drivers loaded...
