Spotting early on is common, particularly after sex. If it continues, or if it becomes bright red, please get medical attention as soon as possible.

Spotting is more common than one would believe and usually it is nothing, but because you are worried and it's the healthy of your unborn babe please see your doctor and get a check-up. It will put your mind at rest.

This happen to me and my doctor advise me not to have sex for a week. So all because your appt is not until 7/15, you can always go as an walk-in.

I had a little bit of spotting during my 5th and 6th week. It was more of a brownish tint. My doctor advised me that if I saw bright red and more than a teaspoon full, that I needed to get checked out. If the sex caused the bleeding, I would do as liz's doctor said and take a week or two off from it.

Hi Margarita. I had the same during all 3 pregnancies. U will be treated as a "threatening miscarriage", as any bleeding is not classed as normal during pregnancy. However after a scan it proved that the placenta has slightly torn causing the blood spottings. I took my time, didn't overdo anything and went on to have 3 full term babies. Any injury internally takes double the healing time to an outside wound, so take it easy, get checked out and hopefully go on to enjoy your pregnancy. Take care.
