Why does my 4 month old puppy is still pooping in her create at night and she lays on it?

Is there space enough in that crate to lie off the poo?

I would suggest you push up dinner time a couple hours and take a long walk each night to get it taken care of before bedtime. Walking stimulates your dogs need to eliminate. It sounds like this dog might have come from a pet store or some other situation where your dog might have been forced to live in it's own filth and it just doesn't know any better. Assuring your dog has "emptied out" before bedtime should begin to correct the situation. Good luck!
