    Worried about period
I have not had a period since March. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and he put me on a hormone to make me start my period in 10 days. So I finished the pills and it has been 13 days and I have yet to start. I am very worried because me and my husband want to have a baby we want to start trying in August. But my doctor told me if I did not have a period I was not obvulating?

Well, first, how old are you? Second, how much do you weigh? These questions are very vital to us helping you. If you are older then that is a clear reason as to why these things might be happening. If you are overweight then obesity can cause you to not have a menstrual cycle... this however does not mean you are not ovulating. There have been many cases of women who haven't had periods in YEARS getting pregnant.

You may need to get a stronger hormone pill. Stress can cause you to loose you period for a couple of months, so if you are stressed you will need to find something to relax you. Also you may not have had your period in a while but if you have some trace of blood in your urine you can still get pregnant.

Surprised that your Dr. just put you on meds to trigger your AF...
You should really get tested for other things... could be for different reasons...

I was tested - haven't had a period in 5 months - and was diagnosed w/ high levels of prolactin... scheduled for an MRI next month and then will be put on meds depending on the results...

Have your Dr test you for other reasons...
