    Perfume sprayer gizmo
Hi there, I have a fairly new bottle of room perfume and the spray gizmo isn't working... so the perfume is stuck in the bottle. Can this be easily fixed, or do I just throw away the bottle? Any ideas?

Have you tried taking off the little nozzle and washing it out with hot water?

Also could you take the nozzle off an old bottle and use it for the new one.

I have taken off the nozzle and pushed the little plastic tip to one side and it has still worked... gets the smell on your fingers and if you press to hard it will break off and then be totally usless.

Best thing to do is if you still have the receipt take it back to the store.

Thanks, bushg. I've just tried washing out the nozzle and pushing the plastic tip to one side as you suggested and still no spray, so I'll see if I can find a replacement nozzle... I can't return the bottle as the shop has closed down. I'm wondering if I can somehow prise the entire nozzle section off and rebottle the perfume. It's such a nice fragrance, I wouldn't want to see it wasted.

Fran... if I tried that I would make sure to do it outside and point it away from my face... I'm not sure how much pressure is in stuff like that. I know aersol cans can be pretty explosive. I have dropped them nozzle down and the darn things spin and squirt.

Lol... thanks for the warning bushg. I hadn't thought of that. Now that wouldn't be pretty :)
