Adding mom on title for ownership
We live in the state of Pennsylvania. My brother owns a home where my mother resides.
He wants to place my mother on the deed for ownership. How does he go about this.

Go back to the Home page and click on the Real Estate Law forum. At the top of the list is a sticky post that explains how to add someone to a deed.

We live in the state of Pennsylvania. My mother resides in the home that my brother purchased. He would like to add my mother to the title for ownership purpose. The mortgage company suggested that he should not do an assumption, but contact city records. Where could and how can he go about doing this.

City records? Most deeds are done at the county courthouse,

If there is a mortgage on the home, you have to have the mortgage company approve the addition of a name, the name can be added by a quick claim deed.
