Question.. I know that I'm a better than decent looking guy, girls tell me all the time that I'm hot. So here's the question.. when I ask a girl to hang out and she doesn't agree, or disagree. (basically ignoring the question in a form) are they doing it because they flat don't want to, or because there's something wrong with my personality or maybe they think that I'm not serious about being serious or what. It would help for me to explain what most people think about me but I honestly don't know. So I guess I need a little help in readying the language of girls when a situation like that comes along... any suggestions?

I think that depends on what you mean by 'hanging out'. If you have a reputation that has been spread by former girlfriends and it's negative, then I suspect they feel you only mean 'one thing' when you drop that 'line' on them.

How about trying new approaches and get to know a girl before you ask them to 'hang out'.

There will be others on here soon, and some men might be able to give you some tips on how to meet and make friends without being rejeted right off the bat.

Maybe the girls are intimidated by your good looks, lol. I can tell you though: if someone doesn't want to hang out with you, then that's what it means. They don't want to hang out with you, or they're just busy. I wouldn't take it too personal/seriously.

It might also be the way you approach/interact first off especially if you're not acquainted with them at all.

Your post, though, is a little vague for me to know what exactly is going on, except the fact that you're better than decent looking and girls ignore/reject you.

I'd just start with small-talk, rather than just bluntly ask them to hang out, =/. It's like... someone you barely know just comes up and asks to hang out, it's very uncomfortable and somewhat awkward actually.

Start sharing more than a conversation here and there. As Chery said get to know them, which builds a foundation, and then see if they want to hang out. No matter the rejections (and there will be some), keep your confidence and sense of humor. That is more attractive than a cute face.
