95 Honda Civic ignition switch electricals
I have a 95 Honda Civic DX 1.5 liter, 5-speed. The ignition switch went out so I bought a new one and replaced it. I pulled the old harness off the old switch and put the new one on. I just left the switch in the floorboard to make sure it was going to work... Sure enough she fired up and ran like a top... let it run for a few minutes. When I went to put the new switch where it's susposed to go... I tried starting it up again and nothing... no clicks, no bells, nothing.

I used a light wire tester on the iginiton signal and there's no current. It didn't pop the fuse or anything in the ignition signal fuse... but there's no current. Once an electrical problem moves past that main fuse box... I'm lost. Any idea on what this could be and how can I fix it?

    Thanks in advance!

Did you disconnect the negative battery cable, before beginning work? Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

I tested all the fuses, everything that is turned on by the ignition switch doesn't light up... which is normal... the switch doesn't do anything, the slot where the ignition signal fuse goes has no current. And I disconnected the battery before we changed out the switch.

Did you check under-hood Fuse No. 39 (50 Amp), which goes to the ignition switch (BAT)?
