Our bathtub pipe is connected to our kitchen sink pipe. We now have food coming up from our bathtub drain, and it doesn't go down for a long time. How do I get the food to go down the main sewer line instead of in our bathtub?

You climb up on the roof with a sewer machine and snake the kitchen roof vent. Put out enough cable to reach the base and 20 feet more. After, flush the line withy a few tubs of hot water from the sink. Good luck, Tom
