McCain was voted the most absent person in Congress by his own peers.

It saddens me that you are going down this path Rick.

Helping to keep an even keel :)

I have no problem saying that neither candidate is worthy. I'll take the least worst of the two. Yes, Need, It's sad indeed.

I'm no neocon. It's a term that has many meanings, but most agree that they're former Democrats/Liberals.

So, what is a 'neocon'? - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

    I'm die-hard Conservative.

I've not changed but clearly my party has.

My screen is blank when viewing the original posting . I assume it is because the computer I am using blocks videos. But in this case a blank space seems to be a proper depiction of the Obama legislative accomplishments.

Perfect record huh, clean as a whistle. That original post says it all.

While McCain may be absent the most, it is not because he is meeting with other radical community pin heads.

I'd rather see him out, than to show up and vote "present" on key issues, just so his true stand remains cloudy at best.

Absent from Congress? Sounds like a recommendation!

Here's the transcript tom, from Chris Mathews' interview of Texas state senator Kirk Watson:

    Quote:

MATTHEWS: Welcome back to HARDBALL. Well, during our coverage last night, Texas senator Kirk Watson was invited to talk about his support of Barack Obama. Here‘s some of that interview.

    (BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MATTHEWS: You‘re a big Barack supporter, right, Senator?

WATSON: I am. Yes, I am.

MATTHEWS: Well, name some of his legislative accomplishments.

    WATSON: We...

MATTHEWS: No, Senator, I want you to name some of Barack Obama‘s legislative accomplishments tonight, if you can.

WATSON: Well, I—you know, what I will talk about is more about what he‘s offering...

    MATTHEWS: No, no. What has...

WATSON:... the American people right now.

MATTHEWS:... he accomplished, sir? You said you support him.

    (CROSSTALK)

MATTHEWS: Sir, you have to give me his accomplishments. You‘ve supported him for president. You‘re on national television.

    WATSON: Well...

MATTHEWS: Name his legislative accomplishments, Barack Obama, sir.

WATSON: Well, I‘m not going to be able to name you specific...

    MATTHEWS: Can you name any?

    WATSON:... items of legislative accomplishment...

MATTHEWS: Can you name anything he‘s accomplished as a congressman?

WATSON: No, I‘m not going to be able to do that tonight.

    (END VIDEOTAPE)

MATTHEWS: Well, that was Texas senator Kirk Watson who couldn‘t answer my questions last night. And by the way, I continued to ask him, as everybody who watched knows, he still couldn‘t come up with the answer.

Oh yeah I saw that when it happened. But I can't remember if this was for or after Matthews got orgasmic about Obama.

Sen. Watson's glaring ignorance pains me sadly, but after enduring seven and half years of Dubya, I admit that surprises are few and far between.

To his credit Obama's a fast learner. Hillary mentioned, if McCain's elected all you'll have left in your pocket is change. Economy issue numero uno, mi amigos.

    Hello Rick:

Yeah, not every supporter of Obama is real bright. But, because THIS guy is a dufus, that means that I shouldn't vote for Obama?? I don't think so...

I wonder if I could find any dufus's who support McCain... Do you think I could? I think so.
