It's all a matter of one's opinion. I think that age gap is fine.

Are you asking this about yourself?

Three years at these ages are a significant gap, considerably more so than ages 40 and 43. A 20-year-old may be two years into college, the military, tech school, or career, while a 23-year-old may have competed a 4-year college program, a 4-year stint in the military, or be well-ahead of the 20-year-old in the other areas. Of course, marriage and babies may be factors in either case.

But in a word, no. The age gap alone, even at this stage, need not be prohibitive. The maturity levels of each person, in my view, are far more important. More years do not necessarily signify greater maturity; nor do less years signify less maturity.

Best wishes as you consider what you get here and elsewhere in your continuing inquiry.

Nope, that's fine. Why are you posting in the teens section if you are 20 or 23?

One of your last questions was asking about a 13 and 15 year old. Now, which is it?

I would assume the young teen is trying to justify a 13 year old dating a 16 year old by saying it is OK when they are 20.
But that is just my guess

I didn't notice this was in the Teens forum. But I did wonder because of the previous question about being a kid star.

When both parties are adults an age difference doesn't matter too much. But when one or both are minors the bigger the age differebce the more it matters.

Right, that's why I asked - thought perhaps OP was hedging the ages to get a response she liked better than the 13/15 post.
