Help!

I recently just dyed my hair a tobacco brown colour to my already coloured brown hair. It turned out TOO dark and I absolutely hate it! I don't want to strip the colour out as I already have colour underneath that I like, I was just trying a different look. I've tried head and shoulders, clarifying shampoos and hot oil treatment, and have been washing it multiple times a day since, and its still not fading the semi - colour fast enough!
What else can I try?

If you strip it, you will not end up with the color that you had before... you will get shades of red and possibly orange depending on how much you lift it. You can do this but I'm not sure what kind of shape your hair is in so I'm not sure I would recommend it. Does your hair still feel good when you run your hands through it? If you feel like it's still pretty healthy you can strip and then re-color... let me know if you decide to do this and I'll walk you through it...
