    Whirlpool awg995 washer dryer
First timer here.. be gentle with me!

My ancient but perfectly reliable whirlpool awg995 washer dryer has developed a problem whereby whenever it should go to the tumble drying part of a cycle, instead it takes water in. Is this a simple repair for a competent gal, is it one for the engineers or am I off down to Comet for a new one? Any ideas out there?

    Cheers all

I fear the last option is the best : in general most washing machines have a working life of up to 10 years at best. Once the problems start, they will continue. Better get a new one!
