Man I want to know how do you know if you have ghost or paranormal activities at home

What makes you feel you might?

... do you hear chains rattling?
... are your white sheets missing?

What kinds of things are happening that would make you think that you might have this happening. Details would help if this is a series question.

Do you hear footsteps? Do your cuboard doors slam shut out of nowhere? Do your bedroom doors open and shut by themselves? Do you hear voices when you are the only one there? Do you get sudden chills as if the temperature decreases rapidly? Are you awaken around 3 o'clock in the morning by strange noises? And if you have any pets, have they been acting strangely, acting on edge, barking or growling at nothing(if it's a dog) or have they simply just been sticking really closely to your side?
