My 98 ford taurus will not move forward after I stop until I put the car in reverse then back to od. No lights no codes only in od works OK in drive

You have a forward broken piston in your tranny.if u give it a lot of gas when it does that it will fall back into gear but real hard don't do it to many times.the pistion is made of alum,new ones are metal.
